In Paladin City, superheroes have become commonplace to the ordinary citizens--all of them except for twelve-year-old Catori Powers, who spends all her time dreaming of becoming a superhero. She finally gets her chance when she acquires her own superpower and a mysterious man enrolls her into training program for potential heroes. Despite her father’s objections, this could be the chance she’s been waiting for. However, not everything is as it seems within the superhero community. Not only must she pass ‘the Exam’ to become a superhero, but a break-in at the superhero headquarters threatens to rid the world of superheroes forever. With the heroes in charge at a complete loss, Catori and her newfound friends may be the only ones who can stop this plan.
